The best editors are also writers. A great idea is only great when it’s clear and compelling to readers, and helping authors get there is my favorite kind of work.

Most of the time I work on scholarly books, especially in the humanities, but I’ve also edited for peer-reviewed journals, museums, NGOs, and art, design, and architecture exhibitions. German history used to be my calling, but at heart I’m a generalist, and I enjoy working with writers across disciplines.
